Atomic Habits

Just listened to Atomic Habits by James Clear on Audible. Thought it was pretty good. I also really like this tweet.

Habits that have a high rate of return in life:

– sleep 8+ hours each day
– lift weights 3x week
– go for a walk each day
– save at least 10 percent of your income
– read every day
– drink more water and less of everything else
– leave your phone in another room while you work

Quick Update

Really unsatisfied with how this site looks or how often I’ve been using it. I want to keep a list of book reports going a la Derek Sivers (sivers.org/book) for two reasons:

I’ve noticed that while I love reading, I don’t take the time to distill what I’ve read. I finish the book and put it away — there are no new insights.
I want to keep track of what I’ve read, and be able to revisit the ideas in a quick and easily digestible manner. It is important, when learning new things, to come back to them, to keep revisiting them. Otherwise, you’ll forget.

That’s it really. I feel like I don’t have time for editing.
